The weekend is almost here and I wanted to share with you about something I have wanted to see with my very own eyes and will finally do this weekend. The Golden Dragon Parade and festival in Chinatown(Downtown LA) is celebrating it's 111th year. The parade and festival kick off on Saturday, February 20th at 1pm. The parade starts at the intersection of Cesar Chavez and Broadway.
I think my kids are going to love this(so will I). It is the perfect learning opportunity. For additional info head
here. Parking might be a little expensive and you will want to bring cash for vendors, favors, parking, etc. However, the festival and parade are absolutely free.
