Last week the kiddos and I had the opportunity to head over to the Fox Lot for a sneak preview of the DVD release of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. I can tell you this- We can't wait for next Tuesday's March 30th's release date. The DVD features are fun and well it's just an enjoyable movie for the entire family.
There are many fun features to the DVD, however my favorite has to be "Shake Your Groove Thing! With Rosero" (8:58), which teaches viewers some dance moves to accompany the music. You can also practice these moves with the music video selection. It is a pretty fun DVD.
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel will be released on Tuesday, March 30th.

I always loved to watch the Chipmunks as a child at Christmas time!! I would enjoy the movie with the family!!

My husband just took our 3 year old son to the cheap theater last Friday night to see this movie. My son hasn't stopped talking about it! I guess when they were leaving the theater he told my husband that "we must buy it and show it to Mom and Elizabeth (his sister)." :)
My daughter Ailey used to laugh every time we would play the chipmunks for her when she was a itty bitty baby. We bought her the first movie to relive those memories. We'd know she'd love the second movie along with her new baby brother.

The original 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' was the first movie our oldest saw in the theater and as soon as it came out we bought it on DVD. Now that we have another little one, the two of them have been dying to see the squeakquel! They bounce around like crazy every time the advertisement comes on!
My kids would laugh hysterically with this film -- could be such a fun diversion!!
My 3 year old has been getting a kick out of the girl chipmunks singing "all the single ladies" and is very excited to see it - and it would be a nice suprise to have the movie at home.

I hope you haven't picked a winner yet. Our girls absolutely loved that movie. They are obsessed with it. We bought the CD and they downloaded it on their IPOD. They can't get enough. It would be a great Easter gift to them. We will have to say that the Easter bunny took a break this year and the Chipmunks are filling in. :)

I am a single mommy to my 3 year old son. This was our first mommy and son date night movie. I would love to surprise him with another "squeakquel" date night at home with his favorite snack popcorn :)with one of his favorite movies (and this time we can get up and dance to the great music:-).
