Meet our Sponsor- Mission Montessori

We would like to introduce our newest sponsor, Mission Montessori.

Mission Montessori encompasses nursery, preschool and kindergarten programs for young children in a beautiful environment run by owner and director Sara Hooper along with other compassionate, dedicated Montessori educators. Here children discover a passion for learning and a joy for the newly discovered independence as they work with others in the family-like community of a Montessori environment. The thoughtful child centered curriculum fosters self-motivation, confidence and empathy for one another. Children's hearts and minds are nurtured by providing a Christian foundation together with the Montessori philosophy.  Natural, organic hot lunches that include fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables are prepared daily in the school kitchen.  Children are introduced to healthy foods from a young age as they work together to plant and harvest the school garden followed by preparing meals to be shared together.  At Mission Montessori, the "follow the child" philosophy of Maria Montessori is embraced as the uniqueness of each child is celebrated. Mission opened it's doors to 7 children in Mission Viejo, Ca. May 4th , 2009 by Montessori educator and director Sara Hooper. In one year the school has grown to 100 children and is currently accepting waiting list applications for it's infant and toddler programs and enrollment applications for limited fall 2010 openings. Tours are offered daily by appointment at 9:30, 10:00 and 10:30 a.m.
