A couple of years ago, my husband and I did this and we had a blast! The trick is not to try entering off the freeway.We had to wait in line for maybe 5 minutes. Have fun!

I live right by the fair grounds, so thanks for the reminder to avoid Fariview and Fair AT ALL COST on Friday. I almost got hit 5 times in a one block radius last year. Everyone was running red lights to get thier place in line for free admission =o)
So where do you enter then. I only did it off the freeway and we made it in with 2 minutes to spare and it was super stressful. How do I get in.
Hi Heidi, we actually drove on the 73 towards Newport- exited I can't remember if it was Jamboree or the street before, made a right and another right by the golf course and took that street all the way across to the fairgrounds. I'm actually going to head over to that area tonight and leave a comment later on with directions.
