Walking with Dinosaurs- The Arena Spectacular

Last night I had the opportunity to take my family to the Honda Center and watch, in my opinion, one of the best shows ever, "Walking With Dinosaurs- The Arena Spectacular". The show was incredible  and delighted every single member of my family. I have to be honest, I was worried that my almost 4 year old son would be restless. He loves dinosaurs, but I was not quite sure that it would hold his attention. I couldn't believe my eyes, when he sat still for the entire show! He was in awe and rightly so. The show is breathtaking, educational and well just plain amazing!

The show is based on the BBC mini-series and took years to bring to life. . There are 17 "dinosaurs" that are as close to the real thing as can be. My 5 year old daughter was a bit skeptical before the show, because she knows that no longer rule the earth. She was convinced  as soon as she took a look at the first one and in her words, just knew that they were real and came to life for this one show. They are that realistic and impressive!

The show is educational, fun and the absolute perfect lenght for the kiddos. I've been to shows before that tend to drag on, but this is not one of them. The show is almost two hours long with a nice 20 minute intermission. I believe it was divided into 40 minutes for the first half, twenty minute intermission and then a 40 minute second act. My kiddos were on the edge of their seats the entire time and so were my husband and I.

The show is jam packed with interesting facts and history and is blended so well into the story. We were all learning as we were watching. It truly is one show I can't stop raving about. It is one show you do not want to miss.

Walking with  Dinosaurs will be playing at the Honda Center  until Sunday September 5th. The show will also play at the Staples Center from September 9th through the 12th.
