The Los Angeles County Fair opens its door at the Fairplex in Pomona this Saturday Morning. I am a big fan County Fairs. They bring fond memories of my childhood and summer. I enjoy watching all the different races and it is always fun to try the different food. This year the LA County Fair will be host to a fun ice exhibit and Our Body, The Universe Within, which is similar to the touring Body Exhibits. I can't wait to head out there.

my favorite part of the fair, is simply the entire fair! I grew up down the street, and I have great memories going many times each year with my whole family. I guess you could say my favorite memory was just being there with my family and creating those memories together.
I love to see how elated my children get when they see and enjoy everything. It's worth the long walking and hot sun just to have a fabulous day with them like that.
We love the exhibits, the vendors and the food! especially the funnel cakes...yum yum..the kids look foward to going to the fair!!
My favorite part about going to the fair is SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY! Plus all the handmade crafts, events etc. What is there not to love about the Fair!

I love to see all the anilmals. I had rabbits as a child and I love to show then to my kids. I am excited to go this year.

My favorite thing to do at the fair is taking my kids to the petting zoo. On our first visit they got a chance to witness a sheep or maybe a Lamb give birth. So cool!!! Also would love to win. Thank for ur blogging. ; )

my favorite part of the fair is the excitement leading up to going and getting inside for the moment of wow to see the rides, foods and shows.
my favorite part is walking around the places that sell things...those huge halls that sell all the gimmicky stuff! so fun!!!

Taking the kids to see all the animals especially the chicks. watching my husbands face as we go up the giant ferris wheel. He falls for that every year. It's not that high. LOL Watching the kids faces as the see the dinos,snow, and all the other cool exhibits.
Ny favorite part is people watching and ofcourse the kettle corn : )

The FOOD!!!! Especially the wacky ones you can't find anywhere else (bacon bits ice-cream, etc.). Mmmmmm....
The animal barns are our favorite. Hands-down favorite Fair memory is my 4 year old VERY urban daughter milking a goat - so very amazed and pleased with herself.

My favorite part of the fair would have to be being able to spend family time together. With our busy schedules it's hard to do that. I love the food the smells & seeing the kids have so much fun! I also love the horses. My dad use to take be there as a kid. My husband loves the trains!
At the OC Fair we adored the stilt walkers. My daughter and I followed them all over the fair every time they were out.
I am currently 28 years old, and I haven't been back to the LA county fair or any other fair since the 5th grade. It was lots of fun for me that day, and would love for my three boys to enjoy it as well. The atmosphere at county fairs is awesome. You completely forget about everything else. I would love to be able to try out the different types of foods they have there.

I like watching the people eat.
It is a tie between the animals and the crazy food, like deep-fried snickers and oreos, which are worth trying but when you bite in you KNOW it is horrible for you;)
I liked the deep fried Coke last year. This year I gotta try the deep fried butter....yum!

Favorite parts are watching my dd drag me from one excitng place (to her) to the next and the ampunt she learns just by being excited how much she learns in a day.
My favorite part of the fair is seeing the excitement on my son's faces as we let them run wild and explore! I have always had a major love affair with the L.A. County Fair and I think my sons are following in mom's footsteps! When I mention the word "fair" my son's eyes light up!

Petting the animals and rides is what my kids love.
Definitely the artery "buster" foods. Love them, and so do the kids.

I would say the FRIED FOOD, but my kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the PIG RACES and the baby chicks, and the sheep that they get to watch being sheered! FUN! Its all fun!
We just moved to the area, so we have never been to the fair! We would love to go for some family fun and to visit all the things that other people have mentioned!! :)

There is so many things I loved about the LA County Fair, but some of my favorite memories from childhood was all the indoor exhibits and of course the fudge! The food was always good and the rides were fun, but just the whole setting of a fair give me a thrill!
